Whether you’re in a romantic relationship or not, Valentine’s Day is a time to celebrate love in all its forms and to remember the important people in your life who bring you joy and happiness.

In the Middle Ages, February 14th was associated with the feast of Saint Valentine, a Christian martyr who was said to have performed marriages for Roman soldiers who were forbidden to marry. This association led to the holiday being adopted as a day for celebrating love and affection.

One way to celebrate love on this special day is over a fabulous dinner with your special someone and/or friends. Check out our area recommendations below. And wherever you choose to celebrate, go ahead and show someone you care, and have a happy Valentine’s Day!

And now, a Valentine’s Day poem:

Roses are red
Violets are blue
Real estate would be lonely
Without all of you!
