Tis’ the season for football fans across the country to celebrate by carefully selecting their Fantasy Football teams and throwing on the apparel of their favorite football team. One of my personal favorite aspects of football season, however, is tailgating parties. Whether it’s because I enjoy eating and drinking until I’m uncomfortable or because I like hanging out with friends is irrelevant (probably a little of both), but I’ll just say that today we hunted down tailgating recipes that are sure to impress your guests.

Appetizers:
Bacon Jalapeno Puffs
I’m personally a big fan of spicy food (and bacon), and I think it’s safe to say that there are a lot of people out there who would appreciate a nice jalapeno and bacon puff. One of my favorite parts about these is that the ingredients are pretty basic so I already had everything I’d need to make them… which means no special trip to the store (woo!).
Homemade Mozzarella Sticks
Sure, you technically could go pick up some frozen mozzarella sticks at the store and save yourself from having to cook. BUT I personally think it’s so much more satisfying to stand over your creation and tell everyone who picks one up that you made it from scratch and then rightfully bask in their praise.
Bacon Cheddar Deviled Eggs
Quick, easy, and a favorite among many, Deviled Eggs are the way to go as a last-minute contribution. The addition of bacon and cheddar gives these eggs a little more pop to impress your guests without really requiring you to exert too much more effort.
Entrees:
Hawaiian Ham Sliders
These are a few of my favorite little sandwiches ever. I’m not really sure whether this should be classified as an appetizer or entrée, but I do know that I can eat enough of these to make a meal out of them. They’re super easy to make, and honestly anything with Hawaiian rolls are pretty much the bomb.com in my non-official foodie opinion.
Pizza Burgers
Grill masters might want to try their hand at creating the perfect Pizza Burger. It’s literally the best of both worlds when you can’t decide between pizza and a hamburger.
Chili
We all know that fall has a tendency to do a thing where it gets a little cold, so having a nice bowl of chili can really make you… not chilly.
Dips:
Jalapeno Popper Dip
It’s been a hot second since I threw in a jalapeno entry, so for a dip you could make the simple, but ahhhhhh-mazing Jalapeno Popper Dip.
Buffalo Chicken Dip
I feel like I’d be making a huge mistake to leave out buffalo, and if there’s any dip more incredible than buffalo chicken dip then I definitely don’t know what it is.
