It is hard to keep up with all of the restaurant happenings in the tri-state.  As a refresher, we thought we would highlight some of the (mostly) locally owned eateries that opened within the past year, and in a few cases, some that are on track to open, and highlight the ones that have ample outdoor seating for the beautiful fall weather that awaits.

Although the seating capacity of these eateries is affected by the Back on Track Indiana Plan stage 4.5 effective (at this point) until Aug. 27, many (if not all) offer carry-out/curbside pick up/delivery options.  A few have excellent outdoor seating.

Here is a friendly reminder of the rules that restaurants must continue to follow to keep our community safe:

  • Dining room food service may open at up to 75% capacity as long as social distancing is observed
  • Bar seating in restaurants may open at 50% capacity as long as social distancing is observed
  • Bars and nightclubs may open at 50% capacity adhering to social distancing guidelines

Which of these locally owned joints are your favorite to frequent?
