It’s Fall y’all, and if you’re looking for a place to get out and enjoy the upcoming cooler temperatures, have a little family fun, and enjoy some fresh apple cider, you might find just the place here.

Goebel Farms – Evansville

4745 W. Boonville-New Harmony Rd.

Goebel Farms is located just north of Evansville and offers hayrides, apple cider slushies, pumpkins, a petting zoo, a corn maze, and more! Click here to check out their website for more details and pricing.

For this year’s corn maze, Goebel Farms is standing in support of Ukraine. The smaller children’s maze is in the shape of a sunflower which is Ukraine’s national flower.

The larger maze features Ukraine’s coat of arms. Under the coat of arms, the letters 3CY are featured which is an abbreviation for Ukrainian armed forces.

Mayse Farm Market – Evansville

6400 N. Saint Joseph Ave.

The Fall season at Mayse Farm Market begins on Saturday, September 24. Mayse Farm Market offers a 5-acre corn maze, wagon rides, visits to the pumpkin patch, and much more!

Wristbands can be purchased for $12 per person with ages 2 and under free. Special group discounts are also available.

You can avoid the weekend crowds and go during the week. Special hours of 2:00 – 6:00 are offered and the wristbands are only $8.

New this year on the weekends, though, are the inflatable obstacle course and the inflatable slide.

Evansville Countryside Orchard – Evansville

16800 Old Petersburg Rd.

If you love Granny Smith apples, they should be ripe for the picking at Evansville Countryside Orchard. The orchard also includes other pre-picked produce like strawberries, peaches, and pumpkins, and make sure you try the delicious and refreshing apple cider slushies!

TJ’s Orchard – Evansville

4805 Orchard Rd.

TJ’s Orchard is a hidden gem offering a pumpkin patch for picking and a store where you can purchase crisp apples, local honey and fresh frozen apple cider. Family-owned, this Fall spot is small but is a local favorite.

Apple Hill Orchard – Bruceville, IN

6235 N. Ford Rd.

Located about 5 miles north of Vincennes, Apple Hill Orchard is a fully trellised apple orchard featuring over 40 apple varieties. Their full-service bakery makes wonderful pies and other treats daily.

Produce and bakery items can be purchased from July to December. Visit them in the summer to pick your own peaches, but in the Fall, you’ll have to try their award-winning apple cider!

Huntingburg Fall Harvest Days – Huntingburg, IN

508 E. 4th St.

Fall Harvest Days take place October 7-8, 2022, on Historic 4th Street in Huntingburg, Indiana. Stroll the brick-paved streets and shop the specialty shops. 

Cates Farm – Henderson, KY

8132 Pruitt-Agnew Road

Cates Farm Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch is a must do! This farm is owned by fourth generation farmers and has grown to be loved by many visitors each year.

With general admission, you can pick your own pumpkin, go through the challenging corn maze, ride the hayride and attend bonfires. There are other kid-specific activities available and the month of October includes food trucks as well.

Reid’s Orchard – Owensboro, KY

Check out the Apple Festival at Reid’s Orchard in Owensboro. The festival runs on October 22 & 23. You can go pumpkin picking, enjoy carnival rides, and eat all the apple-flavored treats you can imagine. The cost is $5 for parking.

The play area is open now with a sunflower, soybean & corn maze. Pick your own apples and pumpkins, ride the Apple Express Train, and much more!

Trunnell’s Farm Market – Utica, KY

9255 U.S. Highway 431

Trunnell’s Farm Market and Family Fun Acre offer fresh produce at their market, but they also provide opportunities for families and groups to tour the farm, learn about where their food comes from, and experience the 35+ Attractions located within the Farm Experience.

The Farm Experience is available every day except Tuesdays from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Get lost in the 4-acre corn maze with a farm scene investigation along the way. Jump around on the huge bounce pillow. Ride the wagon and the Grain Train.

Various passes are available ranging from $17.99 to $37.00
