April 6-7
Heritage Federal Credit Union Home Show
This is the 72nd year for the Home Show and this year will feature over 150 vendors and include guest celebrity appearances by Pete Nelson of Animal Planet’s “Treehouse Masters” and Clint Harp of HGTV’s “Fixer Upper” and DIY’s “Wood Work”.
April 12
Toast to the Arts
The USI Society for Arts and Humanities is hosting its 28th Annual Toast to the Arts!
Join us on Friday, April 12, 2019 in the Old Post Office Event Plaza in Downtown Evansville for a truly special evening. Cocktails and an elegant buffet catered by the Acropolis will start the night at 6 p.m. Following your food and drinks, browse our silent auction or participate in the live auction by William Wilson Auctioneers at 8 p.m.
April 13
Guns and Hoses XII
This is perhaps the most anticipated event every year in Evansville. This is a tremendous event that is put on by a group of Police Officers, Firefighters and Paramedics dedicated to improving the lives of children and people with disabilities in the local community. Come watch local police officers and firefighters duke it out for a years worth of bragging rights.
April 20
The Red Carpet Gala
Join us for an evening of dancing, laughter, and red carpet treatment. A Hollywood style Red Carpet Event, come dressed to impress. Dress as your favorite iconic celebrity or wear something fabulous straight from your closet in support of Lumiere D’Education Foundation Inc. and the children of Plaine, Haiti. A great annual event helping an even better cause!
April 26th
Downtown Evansville Spring Wine Walk
Enjoy wine, shopping, live music, free tarot card readings, free henna tattoos, apartment tours and more in Downtown Evansville! Make plans to attend the Annual Spring Wine Walk. $15.00 provides a commemorative wine glass & four half glass tastes in your favorite shops, bars & restaurants.
April 27
Garden Gate Jazz, Art, Wine, & Craft Beer Festival
Market Street Park will come alive with Jazz music on April 27th for the 8th Annual Garden Gate Festival. Sip and Sample your way through nearly a hundred wine and beer options.
Listen to the sweet sound of Jazz as you shop the many artisans booths. Come hungry and try tasty treats at many food booths.
May 11th
Spring Funk in the City @ Haynie’s Corner
This is an event that you don’t want to miss. With tons of local artists and food vendors this is a great festival to support local businesses. Only $5 admission makes this an affordable event for the whole family!
May 18th
Historic Newburgh Wine Fest
Who doesn’t love a stroll by the river with a glass of wine in hand? Be sure to get your tickets for this popular festival early because it could sell out! With beautiful river views, lots of local winery’s to choose from and live music, how can you go wrong?
