Help Ritzy’s Fantasy of Lights celebrate 22 years in 2015!
Plan to attend Thanksgiving (Nov. 26, 2015) through Jan. 3, 2016!
One of the Tri-State’s favorite winter traditions and most important fund-raising events – Ritzy’s Fantasy of Lights – will brighten Evansville’s Garvin Park Thanksgiving (Nov. 26, 2015) through Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016. Enjoy the 22nd annual drive-through winter light show several times with your family and friends! Hours are Sun.-Thur. 5-9 p.m. and Fri.-Sat. 5-10 p.m. This year’s event is bigger and brighter than ever, with new animals joining the popular “Zoo Review” display and thousands of additional LED lights throughout the park!
All net proceeds from Ritzy’s Fantasy of Lights will fund therapy at the Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center. Again this year, cost for the drive-through event will be just $7 for up to six people. Admission for vehicles with 7-14 people will be $10 and admission for vehicles with 15 people or more will be $25.
Horse-drawn carriage rides will be available nightly (weather permitting) on a first-come, first-served basis, for $30, which includes admission for up to 6 people. Carriage rides board from the Bosse Field parking lot. (To reserve a carriage for a special date & time – or to reserve a wheelchair-accessible carriage – call Horseshoe Bend Carriage Co. at 812-449-6321.)
To order 50 tickets or more at a discounted price, call 812-437-2627. Tickets make great enclosures for holiday cards and perfect gifts for customers and employees.
Special thanks to IBEW, NECA and Teamsters volunteers who set up the spectacular light displays and maintain them nightly. The effort is a huge undertaking, as the show includes over 60 elaborate scenes, many featuring multiple animated displays up to 20 feet tall.
