Located only a quarter of a mile away from UE’s campus, Turoni’s is an excellent spot to grab a bite to eat.
Honey Moon Coffee Company is a great place to hang out with friends and escape the craziness of everyday life over a cup of coffee. It has a splendid atmosphere, excellent service and delicious beverages that speak for themselves. Located right by the University of Evansville, Honey Moon is a favorite of students and community members alike.
Wesselman Woods Nature Preserve is a wonderful place to go for a walk, go on a picnic, or learn more about nature. The 200 acres of serene and peaceful forestry provides a heavenly retreat for many UE students and area residents. A great place for both kids and adults, Wesselman Woods Nature Preserve is a place you can’t miss.
The Ford Center is one of Evansville’s most attractive destinations as it is regularly home to the University of Evansville’s Men’s Basketball Team, the Evansville Thunderbolts hockey team, various music concerts, and many more incredible events. The Ford Center’s diversity is what makes it great for all Evansville residents. With all the events it hosts, you will be sure to find one that you can’t stay away from!
Aside from the destinations nearby the UE campus, there are many more retail shops, restaurants, coffee shops and more anywhere from 5-15 minutes away. UE’s campus is in a prime location due to its short distance to downtown and common shopping centers such as Eastland Mall.
